Ideal Home has published a shopping roundup of six festive storage baskets from Dunelm and Argos, including designs shaped like presents, a Christmas pudding, a tree, a gingerbread house and a penguin. The article suggests ways to use them for gifts, toys and household clutter, but provides no prices for most items, availability details or evidence that the baskets are selling quickly.
Ideal Home has published a roundup of six festive storage baskets from Dunelm and Argos, presenting them as options for storing gifts, toys and other household items during Christmas. The shopping report describes possible uses for each product, but does not provide a full price list or confirm stock levels.
The selection includes the Dunelm Christmas Present Paper Rope Basket, which the article suggests placing in a living room or hallway, and the Argos Home Christmas Pudding Basket, proposed as a container for chocolates, presents or other treats when guests visit. These are the two products in the roundup explicitly connected with hosting and storing festive items.
Other designs include a Dunelm Christmas Tree Cotton Rope Basket with a removable top, and a Dunelm Christmas Sweet Paper Rope Hamper. Ideal Home suggests using the tree-shaped basket to put away items or toys, while the hamper could hold smaller presents or form part of a gift. These are editorial suggestions, not claims about tested capacity or performance.
The remaining options are a Dunelm Gingerbread House Basket, which opens at the roof, and a Dunelm Penguin Paper Rope Hamper. The article says the gingerbread house has a matching Christmas tree skirt priced at £15. It describes the penguin design as less obviously seasonal and suggests it could be used in a bedroom throughout the year. The source does not state prices for the other baskets.
Storage for Seasonal Household Clutter
The roundup addresses a practical issue for households during the holidays: presents, decorations and visiting guests can add to everyday clutter. Baskets offer a place to collect smaller items, while lidded or covered designs can keep some contents out of sight. Their decorative shapes may allow them to be used in shared rooms as well as for storage.
However, the article is a shopping guide, not a product test. It does not compare basket sizes, materials in detail, durability, cleaning requirements or value for money. Readers seeking functional storage will need to check product specifications and current retailer information before buying, particularly if they intend to store heavy items or use a basket for food.

Six Designs in the Christmas Roundup
The original report appears in Ideal Home’s storage and organisation coverage. Its writer presents the baskets as a seasonal mix of storage and Christmas decoration, recommending possible placements and uses rather than reporting on a product launch with confirmed release dates or sales data.
The piece also distinguishes these baskets from other holiday storage products. The writer says they have separately bought practical storage for a Christmas tree, wreaths and baubles, but the report does not name those products or provide details. The six featured baskets are presented for everyday household items and gifts, rather than as dedicated containers for decorations.

Prices, Stock and Product Specifications
The source gives a £15 price only for the matching Christmas tree skirt; it does not list prices for the six baskets. It also does not say when the roundup was published, whether every item is currently in stock, or whether product designs or prices have changed since publication. Availability can vary by retailer and over time.
The report offers no dimensions, weight limits, care instructions or independent assessment of construction. Its suggestions about storing treats, toys and presents should be read as proposed uses, not confirmation that each basket is suitable for food contact, heavy contents or long-term storage. The source also gives no evidence for its prediction that the products will sell quickly.

Check Retailer Listings Before Buying
Readers interested in a specific design can check the current Dunelm or Argos listing for price, dimensions, material details and availability. Those details may differ from the roundup, and the source does not indicate when retailers will restock any sold-out item.
The article’s writer mentions separate practical storage for trees, wreaths and baubles but does not identify those products. The source includes no further product announcement, sales update or follow-up date.
